True Leaders are Born

I just use to here about him in the media or at times see him on TV but on the 9th of September 2009 I was fortunate enough to have to meet him Personally at the Polytechnic of Namibia, when he came to brief us about the official lauch for the
Istitute of People Management. As he took us through his presentation about IPM I was equally excited and motivated beacause I have realised that we have so much in common that I would love to be like him sometimes in the future.

I was not only motivated beacause of his charming persona but because of what he was saying and how he was  saying it. It takes alot for a young man to be were he is to day,all thanks to his leadership qualities and respect that he has for both the people that are below and top of him, not forgetting his business oriented mind. He made me understand how broad the HR field is,not only hiring and firing as it is percieved by many.

I firmly believe that leadership is within him.
''Respect in the workplace is earned, and demanding it from others only has a temporary effect. A tiger does not proclaim its tigritude. It does not go off on a PR campaign in the jungle just to let all the other animals know that he is a tiger, because by its make and substance they already know he is a tiger. This is my same philosophy in the workplace, you don’t go and show people that you are the big boss because they know, let them respect you for that, for a good reason.''
